Back to work

Today is Paulina's first day of work since the beginning of her parental leave about fifteen months ago. She's both excited and feeling a bit sad that the long parental leave is over.

Her employer not raising her salary enough has not contributed to the excitement going back.

For me, I'm starting to regret not doing a longer parental leave than until Alba and Ruth is starting pre school in mid August. I might try to extend the leave for a month or two, we'll see.

Alba and Ruth has started walking a bit and from this first day of taking care of them I can see how this might become a lot more work than I'd imagine. But I'm all up to it and looking forward to find logistic solutions to these challanges :)

They took their first steps in Frigiliana, Spain during our one month vacation in May.
